10 years pedaling towards the European XCO Championship

On April 19, 2015, Melgaço, and specifically the Training Center, hosted the Minho Mountain Bike XCO Championship – MAPFRE | Seguros for the first time, where José Dias and Joana Monteiro were crowned champions.

It was the beginning of a remarkable journey—where athletes achieved personal achievements and their passion for MTB became part of our history.

A story that culminates with the organization of the European MTB Championship (XCO-XCR-XCC), taking place in July 2025, and where we keep alive the tradition of pedaling toward another incredible event. We’re counting on you to celebrate a decade of MTB in Melgaço, from July 24 to 27, 2025!
